Use TokenRex with Claude desktop — Code

Use TokenRex inside the Code section of the Claude desktop app.

Only the Code section is supported because it runs Claude Code. Regular Claude chats still use your Anthropic account and cannot use a custom API address.

Before you start

A TokenRex API key

Step-by-step setup

Fully quit the Claude desktop app.

Create a TokenRex key on the API Keys page.

Add the settings below to ~/.claude/settings.json on your computer.

Replace tb_sk_... with your key, save the file, then reopen Claude desktop.

Open Code, choose a project folder and start a new coding session.

Send a message in the Code section and confirm the Claude request appears in your TokenRex Dashboard.
