Use TokenRex with n8n
Use TokenRex as a custom OpenAI-compatible provider in n8n.
Before you start
- A TokenRex API key
- A version of the app that accepts a custom OpenAI-compatible base URL
Step-by-step setup

In n8n, create an OpenAI credential for TokenRex.

Paste your TokenRex key and set Base URL to https://tokenrex.ai/api/public/v1.
- 3
Add an OpenAI Chat Model node and select the new credential.

Enter the exact model ID, connect it to your workflow, and run a test execution.
Verify the connection
Start a short chat, then confirm the request appears in your TokenRex Dashboard with the model ID you selected.
