Use TokenRex with Roo Code

Use TokenRex as a custom OpenAI-compatible provider in Roo Code.

Before you start

  • A TokenRex API key
  • A version of the app that accepts a custom OpenAI-compatible base URL

Step-by-step setup

  1. 1

    Open Roo Code settings and choose OpenAI Compatible.

  2. 2

    Set Base URL to https://tokenrex.ai/api/public/v1.

  3. 3

    Paste your TokenRex key and enter an exact model ID.

  4. 4

    Save the profile, select it, and start a task.

Verify the connection

Start a short chat, then confirm the request appears in your TokenRex Dashboard with the model ID you selected.
