Use TokenRex with Cursor

Use TokenRex as a custom OpenAI-compatible provider in Cursor.

Before you start

  • A TokenRex API key
  • A version of the app that accepts a custom OpenAI-compatible base URL

Step-by-step setup

    Open Cursor Settings › Models.

  2. 2

    Add your TokenRex key in the OpenAI API key field.

  3. 3

    Enable Override OpenAI Base URL and enter https://tokenrex.ai/api/public/v1.

  4. 4

    Add an exact TokenRex model ID, enable it, then select it in Chat or Agent.

Verify the connection

Start a short chat, then confirm the request appears in your TokenRex Dashboard with the model ID you selected.
